Senior Fullstack Java Developer

About the opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Java Developer to work on strategic projects, focusing on modern architecture, high scalability, and software engineering best practices.

We are looking for someone with a hands-on profile, architectural vision, and the ability to work on both backend and frontend, actively contributing to technical decisions and platform evolution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve backend applications in Java (Spring Boot)
• Build and maintain modern frontend interfaces (React or Angular)
• Define and implement scalable and resilient architectures
• Create and consume REST APIs (and eventually SOAP)
• Work with external integrations (APIs, messaging, IAM, etc.)
• Ensure code quality (Clean Code, SOLID, automated tests)
• Participate in code reviews and architectural decisions
• Provide technical support to more junior developers

Required Technical Requirements

Backend

• Java 11+ (ideally Java 17 or higher)
• Spring Boot
• JPA / Hibernate
• REST API development
• Security with Spring Security / OAuth2 / JWT
• Testing with JUnit and Mockito
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle)

Frontend

• React or Angular
• TypeScript
• REST API consumption
• State management
• Componentization best practices

DevOps / Architecture

• Docker
• Knowledge of Kubernetes
• CI/CD
• Git (Gitflow or trunk-based workflow)
• Understanding of microservices architecture

Differentials

• Experience with messaging (Kafka or RabbitMQ)
• Experience with API Gateway (Kong, Nginx, etc.)
• Knowledge in observability (APM, structured logs, metrics)
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or OCI)
• Experience with S2S authentication (IAM, OAuth2 Client Credentials)
