Documentation Intern (Technical Writer)

Responsibilities:

• Immerse yourself in MedSimples' systems and products to understand workflows, business rules, and features.
• Identify, together with the Operations team, the most common questions and difficulties regarding how the systems work.
• Identify documentation gaps and opportunities to improve access to information.
• Transform information and business rules into organized, clear, concise, and educational content (manuals, step-by-step guides, FAQs, flowcharts).
• Validate the content produced with the Product team, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the systems.
• Organize and maintain a centralized knowledge base, categorized by system/feature, that is easy for the internal team to consult.
• Monitor releases and new features to keep documentation up to date.
• Support adapting part of the material produced for external use (customers), with guidance from the Product team.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing technical or higher education in technology or business fields.
• An investigative and curious profile, with a genuine interest in understanding how systems, features, and processes work.
• Strong writing skills and the ability to organize information clearly and in an educational manner.
• Intermediate knowledge of the Office suite and Google Workspace tools.
• Proactivity in identifying the need for support materials for technical teams.
• Organization and attention to detail to keep documentation always up to date.
• Strong ability to interact with different areas for both collecting and distributing information.

You will stand out if you have:

• Experience with documentation of systems, processes, or digital products.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience (even informal) in customer service, support, or operations.
• Basic knowledge of screen recording/tutorial video tools (e.g., Loom, Scribe).
• Prior experience in healthtech, fintech, or a securitization company.
