LWSA | Linux Infrastructure Specialist | Cloud & Automation | Hybrid

🔍 About the area:

LWSA's Cloud area is expanding and is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to strengthen our team!

You will have the opportunity to work in large-scale environments, contributing to ensuring high availability, security, and performance of our infrastructure. We are looking for someone with solid experience in Linux, automation, and observability, who enjoys technical challenges, has autonomy, and is always seeking improvements and innovation.

💼 Day-to-day responsibilities and activities:

• Administer, support, and optimize Linux environments and Cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and availability.
• Monitor critical environments, identifying potential failures and acting preventively in incident resolution.
• Manage DNS zones and records using PowerDNS.
• Develop and improve automations using Ansible, Puppet, and Python scripts.
• Investigate complex incidents, performing root cause analysis and proposing improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Work together with the Networks and Observability teams on performance and scalability projects.
• Execute changes and maintain technical documentation following governance and ITIL best practices.
• Explore artificial intelligence tools to optimize automations, log analysis, and problem resolution.

🤩 We expect you to have:

• Solid experience in administering and supporting high-criticality Linux environments.
• Advanced knowledge of distributions such as Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux, Ubuntu, and Debian.
• Experience with DNS administration, including managing zones and records using PowerDNS.
• Knowledge of automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using Ansible and/or Puppet.
• Experience developing Python scripts to automate operational routines.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools, such as Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Ability to investigate and resolve complex incidents, identifying causes and proposing improvements.
• Technical autonomy, critical thinking, and a proactive approach to anticipate problems and ensure environment stability.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different technical areas.

🌟 It will be a plus if you have:

• Experience with virtualization platforms and cloud infrastructure, such as VMware, OpenStack, XenServer, XCP-ng, oVirt, or CloudStack.
• Knowledge of IT governance processes and ITIL best practices.
• Experience in scalability, modernization, and optimization projects for Cloud environments.
• Experience with Generative AI tools, such as Gemini, to support automations, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with large-scale, high-availability Hosting environments.
