In the LWSA ecosystem, you drive change. Your goal will be to simplify the customer journey and ensure our solutions become increasingly fluid, directly impacting thousands of businesses that rely on our technology to grow.

💼 Day-to-day responsibilities and activities:

• Design platform and API solutions that balance scale, reliability, and generative AI capabilities, always keeping an eye on the business and long-term software sustainability.
• Research and evaluate the evolution of technologies such as LLMs, MCP, and agent frameworks, prototyping before recommending and validating with data before investing team time.
• Make and defend architecture decisions in distributed systems with embedded AI, covering everything from agent design and orchestration to RAG and guardrails. These decisions are formalized in RFCs and ADRs that guide the tribe.
• Define the standards that make AI and API solutions work in real production: observability, evals, cost control, resilience, and a developer experience that doesn't embarrass you.
• Mentor engineers and lead technical reviews with depth, spreading practices that bridge distributed architecture and AI without treating them as separate worlds.

🤩 We expect you to have:

• Solid experience designing and operating distributed systems in production: microservices, high availability, messaging, and event-driven architectures are part of your everyday vocabulary.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI applied to product: you've integrated LLMs, worked with function calling, built RAG pipelines, and know what it takes to evaluate quality and contain hallucinations at scale.
• The ability to design robust and evolvable API architectures: versioning, webhooks, OAuth2, idempotency, and consistency in high-volume scenarios are part of your repertoire.
• A track record of evaluating emerging technologies with technical rigor, prototyping to reduce risk, and documenting decisions clearly enough to convince skeptics.
• You write well about architecture, defend your point of view in meetings with data, and can read specs in English without relying on translation.

🌟 It will be a plus if you have:

• Experience with Golang in production.
• Practical experience with MCP, whether implementing servers/clients or evaluating it in depth for a real product decision.
• A background in a platform or API-first company, with an understanding of governance, API gateway, and external developer ecosystem.
• Experience migrating monoliths to microservices, Chaos Engineering, or FinOps.
• AI products shipped to production: assistants, autonomous agents, or RAG pipelines with quality and cost control.
