Show originalWith a sense of ownership and collaboration, we join forces to remove barriers and drive
business. We don't just offer digital solutions; we build the ecosystem that
drives entrepreneurship in Brazil.
"It's always been this way" doesn't define us: we question, learn, and evolve with every
challenge, turning mistakes into innovation. And for this, we form a team that plays together,
because we understand that the success of the whole is greater than any individual interest.
Our mission is to simplify the day-to-day for entrepreneurs, and we do this with
honesty in relationships and a focus on what truly matters.
If you seek consistent results that leave a legacy and believe that technology
only makes sense when it guarantees the customer's success, your place is with us!
🔍 About the area:
🚀 What you will transform (Challenge):
In the LWSA ecosystem, you lead change. Your goal will be to simplify the
customer journey and ensure that our solutions become increasingly fluid,
directly impacting thousands of businesses that depend on our technology to
grow.
✨ What makes our eyes shine:
We seek people who live our essence and share our purpose:
we transform businesses to grow and prosper through technology.
If you put the customer at the center, have a collaborative spirit and focus on what matters,
always questioning, learning, and evolving, you already have what we need. We value
those who get their hands dirty and take responsibility!
🤩 We expect you to have:
Responsibilities
Architecture and design (all fronts)
- Define the evolution architecture of Bling's public API: standards (REST/GraphQL/events), versioning, deprecation policy, pagination, idempotency, error handling, authentication, and scopes.
- Design Bling's MCP strategy: which resources to expose, authentication model and governance, security limits, and integration with the existing architecture.
- Define the architecture for embedded AI assistants and agents: orchestration, function calling/tool use, RAG, evals, and guardrails.
- Write RFCs and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) that guide the tribe's choices.
Research and prototyping
- Closely monitor the evolution of standards and technologies (MCP, API specs, LLMs and agent frameworks, developer experience practices) and anticipate impact for Bling.
- Build PoCs and spikes to reduce the risk of architectural decisions before team investment.
- Evaluate tradeoffs with technical rigor and base recommendations on data and experiments.
Developer experience, AI, and scale
- Ensure an excellent developer experience (DX) for the API: SDKs, documentation, sandbox, consistent standards.
- Establish evaluation practices (evals), guardrails, cost control, and quality for AI products.
- Define strategies for observability, rate limiting, caching, and resilience at scale.
Technical elevation of the team
- Mentor engineers, conduct high-level code reviews, and disseminate best practices across all fronts.
Mandatory Requirements
- Deep experience in designing and operating APIs in production and at scale. The professional must design, version, and maintain public/platform APIs with external consumers.
- Solid command of integrations and distributed systems architectures: webhooks, event-driven architectures, authentication (OAuth2, scopes, API keys), idempotency, consistency.
- Practical experience with generative AI applied to products: integration with LLMs, function calling/tool use, RAG, and understanding of evaluation and guardrails.
- Proven research profile: history of evaluating emerging technologies, prototyping, and making well-founded architectural decisions — not following hype, but validating with rigor.
- Breadth with depth: comfortable moving between different fronts without losing technical quality.
- Ability to write high-quality technical documents (RFCs, ADRs, design docs) and defend decisions clearly.
- Technical seniority that translates into influence: a reference for other engineers, even without a management title.
- English for reading specs and participating in technical communities.
Differentials
- Practical experience with MCP (implementation or serious evaluation of servers/clients).
- Contributions to open source projects, specs, or public standards.
- Experience in platform/API-first companies (Stripe, Twilio, Shopify, Atlassian, Kong, or similar).
- Experience putting AI products into production (assistants, agents, RAG pipelines).
- Experience with API gateways, multi-tenancy, and platform governance.
