As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building and evolving our data foundations, working end-to-end across the information journey: from identifying sources to transforming and making data available in our analytical layers.Responsibilities and Duties

• End-to-End Execution: Design and implement robust data pipelines, covering the full cycle: source identification, ingestion, transformation, enrichment, and loading.
• Architecture and Scale: Develop solutions using distributed architectures (such as Lambda or Kappa), ensuring efficient pipelines for batch and streaming processing.
• Data Management: Handle large volumes of data while ensuring performance, consistency, and quality across the platform.
• Integrated Collaboration: Work collaboratively in matrix teams (Squads/Pods), partnering with Software Engineers, scientists, and product teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Technical Evolution: Contribute to the evolution of our Data Lake and infrastructure, always seeking continuous improvement in our engineering standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Academic Background: Completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or related fields.
• Technical Experience: Solid experience in data engineering, with hands-on experience handling large volumes of data.
• Stack: Strong experience with Open Source ecosystem tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka, Hudi, or similar).
  • Desired Knowledge:Mastery of Lambda/Kappa architecture.
  • Cloud experience (preferably AWS).
  • Proficiency in languages such as Python or Scala.
  • Knowledge of databases (relational and non-relational) and vector databases.
