Day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement advanced Machine Learning models, including neural networks, statistical and mathematical models, to solve complex business problems, from conception to production.
• Conduct in-depth Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, and actionable insights that guide strategic decision-making.
• Develop and apply advanced Feature Engineering techniques to optimize model performance.
• Actively explore and apply the latest innovations in Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Agents to create cutting-edge and differentiated solutions.
• Build, optimize, and manage end-to-end Machine Learning pipelines, ensuring automation, scalability, and robustness.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of models implemented in production environments, ensuring their robustness, efficiency, and explainability.
• Research and propose the adoption of new technologies, tools, and methodologies in Data Science and AI, acting as a technical reference and evangelist.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (Engineering, Product, Business) to identify opportunities, translate complex requirements into innovative technical solutions, and ensure value delivery.

What we are looking for:

• Completed higher education in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
• Proven experience at a Specialist level in building and implementing Machine Learning models, including neural networks, statistical and mathematical models.
• Knowledge and practical experience with GenAI, LLMs, and Agents.
• Mastery in building and managing Machine Learning pipelines.
• Expertise in Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and Feature Engineering.
• Mastery of programming languages such as Python (with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL.
• Ability to solve complex problems analytically, creatively, and innovatively, with a results-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at different levels of the organization.
• Proactivity, keen curiosity, and a passion for continuous learning and the frontiers of knowledge in AI.

Differentials:

• Solid knowledge in Data Engineering, including pipeline design, ETL/ELT, and database optimization.
• Practical experience with AWS services for developing and deploying AI solutions (e.g., S3, EC2, SageMaker, Lambda, Redshift, Glue).
• Experience with Big Data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
• Knowledge of MLOps and tools for automating the lifecycle of AI models in production.
• Portfolio of relevant projects in Data Science, especially with advanced applications of GenAI and LLMs.
• Publications, articles, or significant contributions to the Data Science/AI community.
