Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer passionate about building high-quality products and eager to contribute to Livon's technological evolution.

We are seeking someone with solid software development experience, a systemic perspective, and a commitment to engineering best practices. More than just writing code, we seek a professional who actively contributes to technical decisions, platform evolution, and the development of scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions.

You will be part of a team developing a SaaS platform focused on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management, leveraging technology, data, and artificial intelligence to transform how companies care for their employees.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop new features and evolve existing products with a focus on quality, performance, and scalability;
• Participate in technical definitions alongside architects and other developers;
• Implement integrations with third-party systems and APIs;
• Ensure best practices in development, automated testing, documentation, and code review;
• Contribute to the evolution of the platform's architecture by proposing technical improvements and reducing technical debt;
• Investigate and resolve complex software issues;
• Collaborate with Product, Data, UX, and Information Security teams to build high-impact solutions;
• Mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge and fostering the team's technical growth.

What We're Looking For

• Solid experience as a Senior Software Developer or Engineer;
• Expertise in Python and Django;
• Experience with Vue.js or modern frontend frameworks;
• Knowledge of developing and consuming REST APIs;
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, and data modeling;
• Knowledge of Git, automated testing, and software engineering best practices;
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP);
• Ability to analyze complex problems and propose sustainable solutions;
• Collaborative mindset, sense of ownership, and focus on delivering value.

Differentiators

• Experience with B2B SaaS products;
• Knowledge of microservices and distributed architectures;
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices;
• Experience in projects utilizing Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning;
