About the role

We are looking for an AI Developer to join our technology team and work on the development of intelligent solutions, automations, and applications based on Artificial Intelligence.

We are looking for a professional with solid experience in Python and Django, who has an interest or practical experience in building intelligent agents, integrations via Model Context Protocol (MCP), and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.

You will have the opportunity to participate in the design and evolution of technological solutions, connecting AI models to systems, data, and business processes, with a focus on scalability, security, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evolve AI agents for task and workflow automation.
• Develop applications and APIs using Python and Django.
• Implement integrations with language models (LLMs), external tools, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Develop and consume integrations using Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Build, maintain, and optimize RAG pipelines for intelligent querying of documents and knowledge bases.
• Implement semantic search mechanisms, embeddings, and contextual information retrieval.
• Develop RESTful APIs and services for integration between applications.
• Model, query, and optimize relational databases and, when applicable, vector databases.
• Implement automated tests, error handling, logging, and application monitoring.
• Contribute to the architecture, quality, security, performance, and scalability of the developed solutions.
• Participate in requirements analysis, technical solution definition, and continuous system improvement.

Technical requirements

• Experience with Python development.
• Experience with Django and, preferably, Django REST Framework.
• Practical experience in developing AI agents and integrating with language models (LLMs).
• Knowledge or practical experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
• Knowledge of developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Knowledge of Git and code versioning best practices.
• Familiarity with automated testing, debugging, and application maintenance.
• Ability to analyze problems, propose solutions, and work collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with frameworks and libraries for developing AI applications, such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
• Knowledge of vector databases, such as Qdrant, Weaviate, Pinecone, or pgvector.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Knowledge of messaging, asynchronous processing, and task queues, such as Celery and Redis.
• Familiarity with cloud services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with CI/CD, deployment pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, response evaluation, and optimization of LLM-based applications.
• Experience with authentication, authorization, API security, and data protection.
