Financial Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a person to work as a Financial Analyst, contributing to the organization, monitoring, and evolution of the company's financial management.

We are looking for someone with an analytical, organized, and hands-on profile, preferably with experience in technology companies, startups, or SaaS models. This person will be responsible for supporting financial routines, planning, and performance monitoring, as well as contributing to the generation of information and metrics that support decision-making.

The position will interface with different areas of the company and have close contact with leadership, in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable routines;
• Support the control and monitoring of cash flow and financial reconciliations;
• Support the preparation and monitoring of budget, forecast, and financial planning;
• Perform analyses of revenue, costs, expenses, and profitability;
• Monitor financial metrics and support the development of KPIs and management dashboards;
• Support monitoring of SaaS business metrics, such as MRR, ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, margin, and recurring revenue;
• Prepare reports and analyses for leadership monitoring;
• Support analysis of variances between actual and budgeted, identifying opportunities and areas of attention;
• Support financial analyses related to new businesses, contracts, and pricing;
• Interface with accounting, banks, suppliers, and other partners;
• Contribute to the organization, documentation, and continuous improvement of financial processes and controls;
• Support leadership with information and analyses for decision-making.

Requirements

• Completed or in-progress degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields;
• Prior experience in finance;
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and reconciliation routines;
• Analytical profile and comfort working with numbers and data;
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets;
• Experience with financial systems, ERPs, or management tools;
• Organization, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility;
• Ability to work autonomously and in a dynamic environment;
• Good communication skills and ease of interacting with different areas.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience in technology companies, startups, or scale-ups;
• Familiarity with the SaaS business model and recurring revenue metrics;
• Experience in B2B SaaS companies;
• Knowledge of FP&A, budget, and forecast;
• Knowledge of metrics such as MRR, ARR, CAC, LTV, and churn;
• Experience with Power BI or other BI and data analytics tools;
• English.
