Financial Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to contribute to the organization, monitoring, and evolution of the company's financial management.

We seek someone with an analytical, organized, and hands-on profile, preferably with experience in technology companies, startups, or the SaaS model. This person will be responsible for supporting financial routines, planning, and performance tracking, as well as contributing to the generation of information and indicators that support decision-making.

The role will interface with different areas of the company and involve close contact with leadership in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable routines;
• Support the control and monitoring of cash flow and financial reconciliations;
• Support the preparation and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning;
• Conduct analyses of revenues, costs, expenses, and profitability;
• Monitor financial indicators and support the development of management KPIs and dashboards;
• Support the tracking of SaaS business metrics, such as MRR, ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, margin, and recurring revenue;
• Prepare reports and analyses for leadership review;
• Support the analysis of variances between actuals vs. budget, identifying opportunities and areas of concern;
• Support financial analyses related to new business, contracts, and pricing;
• Liaise with accounting, banks, suppliers, and other partners;
• Contribute to the organization, documentation, and continuous improvement of financial processes and controls;
• Provide leadership with information and analyses to support decision-making.

Requirements

• Completed or ongoing degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields;
• Prior experience in the finance area;
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and reconciliations;
• Analytical mindset and ease working with numbers and data;
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets;
• Experience with financial systems, ERPs, or management tools;
• Organization, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility;
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment;
• Strong communication skills and ease interacting with different departments.

Differentials

• Prior experience in technology companies, startups, or scale-ups;
• Familiarity with the SaaS business model and recurring revenue metrics;
• Experience in B2B SaaS companies;
• Knowledge of FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting;
• Knowledge of metrics such as MRR, ARR, CAC, LTV, and churn;
• Experience with Power BI or other BI and data analysis tools;
• English proficiency.
