About Livon
Livon is building a new generation of technology solutions for Health and Corporate Safety, using Artificial Intelligence to transform complex processes into smarter, automated, and results-driven solutions.
We are expanding our Technology team and are looking for an AI Engineer to take part directly in this build.
🚨 Important: we are looking for real AI experience
This is not a role for someone just starting to work with Artificial Intelligence.
We are looking for someone with proven hands-on experience who has already developed and put AI solutions into production.
We want someone who has already faced the real challenges of building AI: choosing models, experimenting with architectures, integrating APIs, developing agents, evaluating results, controlling costs, solving performance issues, and making the solution truly work in production.
At Livon, AI is not a side project. It is central to the product.
What you will build
You will have direct involvement in building and evolving our AI solutions, working closely with the Product and Technology teams.
Among your main challenges will be:
- Develop applications using LLMs and Generative AI;
- Build and evolve AI Agents / intelligent agents capable of executing real business processes;
- Develop solutions using RAG, embeddings, and vector databases;
- Integrate AI models with systems, APIs, and external tools;
- Create architectures for agents with different levels of autonomy;
- Develop mechanisms to evaluate the quality, accuracy, and performance of solutions;
- Experiment with different models, tools, and architectures, seeking the best balance between quality, speed, and cost;
- Put AI solutions into production and monitor their performance;
- Monitor, identify issues, and drive continuous improvements;
- Transform complex processes into AI-automated workflows;
- Work directly with Product and Technology to turn real problems into AI solutions.
What we expect you to have already done
We want someone who not only knows the concepts but has already built and made AI work.
It is important that you have hands-on experience with:
- LLMs and Generative AI;
- AI Agents / autonomous agents;
- RAG and embeddings;
- Vector databases;
- Model integration through APIs;
- Evaluating and improving the quality of AI-based applications;
- Developing AI applications in production;
- Python;
- Software development and integration;
- Architecture and deployment of AI applications.
We also expect the ability to turn a business problem into a functional technical solution, with the autonomy to experiment, test, deploy to production, and iterate quickly.
Will be a plus
- Experience with multi-agent systems;
- Experience with fine-tuning;
- Experience with open-source models;
- Knowledge of agent frameworks and orchestration;
- Experience with observability for AI applications;
- Knowledge of cloud and infrastructure for AI applications;
- Experience optimizing LLM cost, latency, and performance;
- Experience in SaaS products;
- Experience in high-scale environments;
- Experience working with sensitive data or regulated environments.
Profile we are looking for
More than a list of technologies, we are looking for someone who has:
Technical curiosity
You like testing new technologies and discovering what really works.
Hands-on profile
You get your hands into the code and do not wait for someone to tell you exactly how to do it.
Execution speed
You can go from an idea to building a prototype, testing it, and evolving it quickly.
Product mindset
You understand that a technically sophisticated solution is useless if it does not solve a real problem.
Ownership
You take responsibility for the outcome and follow the solution until it is working in production.
Desire to build
You want to be in an environment where there is still a lot to build — and where your decisions will have a direct impact on the product.
❌ This role is probably not for you if...
- Your AI experience is mainly academic or course-based;
- You use ChatGPT, Copilot, or other AI tools, but have not yet developed AI applications;
- You know LLMs conceptually, but have never put a solution into production;
- You are looking for your first professional experience with Artificial Intelligence;
- Your main focus is traditional development and you do not yet have relevant hands-on AI experience.
🎯 What we expect from you
We expect you to be able to answer yes to at least some of these questions:
🤖 Have you built an AI Agent? 🧠 Have you developed an application using LLMs? 🔎 Have you implemented RAG? 🔗 Have you integrated AI models into real systems? 🚀 Have you put an AI solution into production? 📊 Have you needed to measure and improve the quality of a model's responses? 💰 Have you needed to balance LLM quality, performance, and cost?If the answer is yes, we want to talk to you.
📍 Work model
On-site – Joinville/SC
We are looking for someone who wants to be close to the team, participate in technical decisions, and build, together with us, AI products that will be used by real customers at scale.
