Mid-Level ASP.NET WebForms Developer - On-site - São Paulo - CLT

We are looking for an ASP.NET WebForms developer who will work on maintenance, evolution, and support of legacy systems, with mastery of the page lifecycle, architecture best practices, API consumption, security, performance, and code organization.

The candidate will be evaluated through technical tests covering fundamentals, intermediate practices, and advanced WebForms concepts.

Required Knowledge

🔹 ASP.NET WebForms (essential)

• • Mastery of the page lifecycle (Init, Load, PreRender, Unload)
  • Correct use of IsPostBack
  • Creation and configuration of server-side controls
  • Understanding of ViewState
  • Use of MasterPages and ContentPlaceholder
  • Creation and use of User Controls (.ascx)

🔹 Data Handling and Controls

• • Correct use of:
  • GridView, Repeater, DataList
  • Event handling (RowCommand, Click, etc.)
  • Manual data binding
  • Basic knowledge of SqlDataSource (with awareness of risks)
  • Controlled PostBack (AutoPostBack)

🔹 C# Applied to WebForms

• • Correct typing
  • Safe value conversion (QueryString, Session)
  • Synchronous and asynchronous methods
  • Writing reusable methods
  • Reading and correcting legacy code

🔹 Integration and APIs (intermediate/advanced level)

• • Consumption of REST APIs with HttpClient
  • Knowledge of best practices:
  • HttpClient reuse
  • Correct Async/Await usage
  • JSON serialization and deserialization

🔹 Architecture and Organization (strong differentiator)

• • Layer separation (UI, business, data)
  • Basic knowledge of MVC / MVP applied even in WebForms
  • Conscious use of Global.asax
  • Global error handling (Application_Error)
  • Caching (OutputCache)

🔹 Security (mandatory)

• • Avoid SQL Injection
  • Correct use of FormsAuthentication
  • Understanding of Session, authentication tickets, and expiration
  • Basic knowledge of OAuth (differentiator)

⏰ - Work hours: Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 18:00 and Friday from 08:00 to 17:00
