REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree (in progress or completed) in Information Technology OR a completed bachelor's degree in any field accompanied by a postgraduate lato sensu (specialization, master's, or doctorate) in IT with a minimum of 360 hours.
• Strong and proven experience as a Java Backend Developer/Engineer.
• Proficiency in the Java language and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with data persistence using JPA / Hibernate.
• Building, integrating, and documenting RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database management.
• Proven experience in refactoring, analyzing, and rebuilding legacy systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with messaging architecture (Apache Kafka or similar).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Automated testing practices (unit and integration) and CI/CD / DevOps pipelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Directly contribute to the evolution, reconstruction, and reimplementation of the project (Diagnóstico V2), transforming business rules and functionalities from legacy systems into a modern architecture.
• Analyze, understand, and interpret business rules from complex legacy systems to propose updated and sustainable technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs and backend components in a structured, clean, and highly testable manner.
• Apply best practices in software engineering, system architecture, and design patterns when modernizing applications.
• Ensure the quality, performance, security, and maintainability of code delivered to production.
• Actively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on architecture definitions, technical requirements gathering, and delivery planning.

• Work Arrangement: 100% Remote
• Workload: 220 hours per month
• Working Hours: 08:30 to 18:18 with a 1-hour break.
