RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Conduct the gathering, analysis, and specification of functional and non-functional requirements with users and business areas.
- Prepare and keep up to date the technical documentation for systems, data models, and diagrams (UML).
- Work on the analysis, maintenance, evolution, and ongoing support of legacy systems and existing applications.
- Support and participate in the development and implementation of improvements and new features (using Java or PHP).
- Create and run functional test routines, validate business rules, and monitor production deployments.
- Write and optimize relational SQL queries for data analysis and database failure diagnosis.
- Estimate technical efforts, support demand management, and track delivery deadlines.
- Provide consultative support to end users in resolving operational issues and technical questions about the system.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Completed undergraduate degree in IT (Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Analysis, or related fields) OR a completed undergraduate degree in any field accompanied by a graduate degree in IT (minimum 360 hours).
- Professional Experience: Proven minimum experience in systems analysis, requirements gathering, and software maintenance.
- Technical Competencies (Required):
- Mastery of requirements gathering, engineering, and analysis techniques.
- Practical experience in code development/maintenance in Java or PHP.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Practical experience with functional testing, acceptance testing, and web system maintenance.
- Mastery and experience in data modeling and UML notation (use case, class, and sequence diagrams).
- Knowledge of frameworks and tools for creating automated tests and code validation.
- Experience in projects to modernize and evolve corporate legacy systems.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Employment Type: CLT
- Work Arrangement: On-site in Florianópolis (SC)
- Working Hours: 220 hours (monthly)
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 09:30 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 19:00
