REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in an undergraduate program in Information Technology OR completion of any undergraduate program accompanied by a postgraduate qualification (specialization, master's, or doctorate) in IT, with a minimum of 360 hours;
• Consolidated experience working in the field;
• Strong experience with Multi-Model Architecture and Provisioning (installation and setup of DBMS such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle), as well as cloud services, with a focus on Cloud SQL on GCP;
• Strong knowledge of Databases for AI and Machine Learning (provisioning of vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, Qdrant, or pgvector);
• Experience structuring Non-Relational/NoSQL Databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis) and graph databases;
• Mastery of High Availability (HA/DR) setup, including SQL Server Always On, primary-secondary replication, and restore strategies (point-in-time recovery);
• Practical experience in Operational Security Design (DDM, TDE, RLS) and enabling audit logs;
• Advanced knowledge of Capacity Calculation and Sizing (Capacity Planning) to estimate costs and storage topologies;
• Ability to provide Advisory and Tuning for New Queries (preventive analysis of execution plans and physical indexes);
• Analytical perspective for Technological Feasibility Consulting, recommending the most suitable database model for each project;
• Profile with strong self-management, results focus, ability to solve complex problems, continuous learning (Lifelong Learning), and assertive communication;
• Note: The profile allows focusing on one or more areas of new projects (cloud migrations, new on-premises setups, database provisioning for AI), which will be chosen when the Service Order (OS) is opened.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Design, provision, validate, and implement the physical and logical infrastructure for new databases (relational DBMS, NoSQL, vector, and cloud) required by the organization;
• Work in the conception and technical feasibility phase of new solutions, physically modeling storage capacity;
• Configure initial high-availability environments and define operational security and audit safeguards before production delivery;
• Provide consultative support in database infrastructure engineering to Data Engineers and Developers;
• Ensure that the new ecosystem (whether on-premises or cloud-managed) is born performant, secure, and aligned with the scope of the requirement.
