Tasks and Responsibilities

About the company

We are a growing outbound sales organization serving U.S.-based business prospects. Our SDR Division operates within the Outbound Sales team and is focused on high-volume, disciplined prospecting that generates qualified opportunities for our Inside Sales Representative (ISR) team. We foster a performance-driven culture built on consistency, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, high-performing Sales Development Representative to step into a Team Lead role on our growing outbound team. This is not a people management position, you will remain fully active as an SDR, owning your own outbound activity and hitting your own targets, while also serving as the eyes and ears of the Outbound Sales Manager on the ground, helping keep the team sharp, accountable, and aligned.

This is a role for someone who has already proven themselves as a disciplined, high-activity SDR and is ready to take on more, without stepping off the field.

Responsibilities

Outbound Prospecting & Outreach (Individual Contributor)

  • Execute a high volume of outbound calls daily as your primary outreach channel, with email and LinkedIn used as supporting channels.
  • Conduct basic account and contact research to support call preparation and outreach personalization.
  • Engage business decision-makers using established talk tracks and objection handling frameworks.
  • Conduct consultative outbound conversations focused on building credibility, generating interest, and assessing high-level prospect fit.
  • Facilitate professional warm live introductions to the ISR team, providing relevant prospect context to support a smooth handoff, or schedule and confirm calendar appointments between prospect and ISR.
  • Maintain accurate, real-time records of all call activity, dispositions, and contact data in our SEP and CRM.
  • Follow suppression, data hygiene, and compliance standards in all outreach activity, including CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and applicable data privacy regulations.

Team Lead Responsibilities (Player-Captain)

  • Monitor team presence and participation, flagging attendance issues, disengagement, or potential culture concerns to the manager promptly and accurately so the manager is aware and can address them in 1:1s.
  • Set the tone for the team through your own behavior: high call volume, structured workflows, strong adherence to process, and consistent professionalism.
  • Provide informal, real-time support to teammates — answering quick questions, offering encouragement, and helping reps stay on task throughout the day.
  • Help onboard and orient new SDRs as they join the team, walking them through daily workflows, tools, and expectations.
  • Share observations from the team floor — what is working, what is not, recurring objections, morale, and anything else the manager should know.
  • Participate in team-level calls, training sessions, and reporting as requested by the Outbound Sales Manager.

Qualification & Pipeline Contribution

  • Meet or exceed your individual weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs tied to outbound activity, connect rates, conversation quality, and qualified opportunities advanced to the ISR team.
  • Apply established qualification standards consistently, ensuring all opportunities advanced to the ISR team align with defined ICP and quality expectations.

Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in regular 1:1s, call reviews, and coaching sessions.
  • Demonstrate consistency in applying coaching feedback, process improvements, and updated outreach strategies — and model this for the broader team.
  • Contribute observations from the team and from your own prospect conversations to help refine targeting, objection handling, messaging, and talk tracks.
  • Stay current on call frameworks, sequences, and playbook updates as directed by the Outbound Sales Manager.

Requirements

  • Professional fluency in spoken and written English (B2/C1-C2), with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently in unscripted, real-time conversations with U.S.-based business prospects.
  • Availability to work standard U.S. Pacific Time (PST/PDT) business hours, 8am-5pm PT.
  • Proven track record as a high-activity outbound SDR — this role is not a step away from SDR work, it is SDR work plus.
  • Highly organized and self-directed, able to manage your own high-volume outreach activity while staying attentive to what is happening around you on the team.
  • Communicates issues and observations clearly, promptly, and objectively — surfaces problems without drama and brings solutions when possible.
  • Demonstrates resilience, consistency, and professionalism in a high-activity, performance-driven environment.
  • Takes ownership of both personal performance and the health of the team environment.
  • Comfort working within a modern outbound sales tech stack, including dialers and call tools (e.g., Aircall, Dialpad, or similar), CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), sales engagement and sequencing platforms (e.g., Apollo, Outreach), and data and contact research tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and outbound processes.

Nice to have

  • Experience in commercial services, facilities management, or related industries is a plus.

Soft skills

  • Coachable: committed to continuous improvement — and brings that same growth mindset to how you support others.
  • Resilience: maintains consistency and professionalism under pressure.
  • Leadership through presence: leads by example with high call volume, structured workflows, and consistent professionalism.

Work model and location

This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in Mexico, Colombia, or Brazil. Candidates must be available for Pacific Time overlap, working standard U.S. Pacific Time (PST/PDT) business hours, 8am-5pm PT. This is a full-time position hired through an Employer of Record (EOR). This role reports to the Outbound Sales Manager within the Outbound Sales, SDR Division.

What this role is not: this is not a people management position. The SDR Team Lead does not conduct formal performance reviews, make hiring or termination decisions, set compensation, or carry formal HR authority over other team member. Those responsibilities remain with the Outbound Sales Manager. This is a role for someone who wants to lead through performance and presence, not through authority.
