In your day-to-day, you will:

• Define and evolve the infrastructure and platform architecture for internal and third-party applications;
• Design the complete observability and alerting strategy, focusing on proactive detection of degradations;
• Establish and govern the framework for SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets, working alongside product and engineering teams;
• Provide technical leadership in building robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines, including progressive deployment strategies (blue/green, canary);
• Architect multi-cloud (AWS/GCP) and hybrid (cloud/on-prem) disaster recovery solutions, conducting periodic DR tests;
• Define standards for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration automation, and infrastructure governance;
• Conduct post-mortems and ensure the implementation of systemic corrective actions;
• Lead chaos engineering initiatives to validate service resilience;
• Act as the technical liaison between development and operations teams in architectural decisions;
• Ensure the reliability of serverless containerized workloads, managed databases, and event buses;
• Mentor and develop less experienced team members;
• Define and track operational maturity metrics and system capacity.

What you need:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, and/or related fields;
• Advanced experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, Lambda, RDS, MSK, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, Transit Gateway, Organizations);
• Mastery of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) with practices for modularity and reuse;
• Solid experience with configuration automation (Ansible, Chef, or similar);
• Proficiency in market-standard CI/CD tools and defining release strategies;
• Deep knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture with Kafka;
• Experience designing and operating end-to-end observability stacks;
• Mastery of SRE practices: defining SLIs/SLOs, managing error budgets, conducting post-mortems, reducing repetitive work, and capacity planning;
• Hands-on experience planning and executing multi-cloud or hybrid DR;
• Experience with chaos engineering and resilience testing in production;
• High analytical capability, complex problem-solving skills, and clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred qualifications:

• Practical experience with GCP in DR or active multi-cloud scenarios;
• AWS Professional or Specialty level certifications;
• Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDP);
• Knowledge of service mesh and zero-trust security in distributed environments;
• Experience with FinOps and cost optimization at scale;
• Experience in structured on-call programs with escalation paths and automated runbooks;
• Active contribution to communities or technical publications in the field;
• Experience in high-criticality environments within the financial sector;
• Advanced English proficiency.
