Information Technology Specialist - Data and Analytics

FINCH has an opportunity for an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST - DATA AND ANALYTICS to join the TECHNOLOGY team.

Role Mission:

To be the guardian of data at Finch, responsible for architecting, integrating, and transforming information into strategic insights, building and evolving our data and analytics platform.

You will act as a technical reference, ensuring governance, quality, and continuous innovation in the use of data to drive decisions across the entire company.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and manage data pipelines (ETL/ELT), integrating information from multiple sources (APIs, databases, spreadsheets) into cloud Data Warehouse or Data Lake environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP);

Model data for optimized analysis, structuring scalable and consistent environments;

Develop Business Intelligence (BI) solutions with Power BI or Tableau, creating interactive and automated reports and dashboards to support decision-making;

Apply advanced analysis and machine learning techniques in Python or R to generate predictive insights and strategic recommendations;

Ensure data governance and quality, maintaining standards of security, integrity, and consistency of information;

Translate data into stories and decisions, communicating results clearly and accessibly to both technical and non-technical audiences;

Act as a champion of the data culture, fostering the adoption of analytical practices and the intelligent use of information throughout the organization.

What do you need to secure this position?

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields (or equivalent practical experience);

Solid knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and data modeling;

Proficiency in BI and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Superset);

Experience with programming languages (Python, R) and analysis and machine learning libraries;

Knowledge of Cloud Computing platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP);

Intermediate English;

Certifications in data or cloud platforms will be considered an asset.

It will be a plus if you have:

Experience in building scalable data architectures and implementing automated pipelines;

Experience with DataOps, data governance, and agile methodologies;

Knowledge in Data Storytelling and executive communication of insights;

Participation in applied AI and analytical automation projects.
