Senior Back End Developer Analyst – Java

A FINCH has an opportunity for a SENIOR BACK END DEVELOPER ANALYST – JAVA to join the Technology team.

Role Mission: Develop and maintain back-end software functionalities that add value to the product, ensuring quality delivery in accordance with the needs of business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, and maintain high-complexity solutions, defining architecture, design, methodologies, languages, and tools, with a focus on back-end;
• Ensure software quality and security by writing unit tests, reviewing code, and supporting continuous improvement plans;
• Share technical knowledge by training colleagues and promoting experience exchange in meetings, guilds, or chapters;
• Contribute to understanding client needs by analyzing functional and non-functional requirements alongside the Product Owner (PO) and clients;
• Foster a DevOps culture by applying containerization, version control (Gitflow), and CI/CD pipelines;
• Support the PO in planning and budgeting for new demands, estimating effort and delivery timelines.

What do you need to qualify for this position?

• Proficiency in developing robust and scalable applications in Java 11 or higher and Golang;
• Proficiency in Hibernate/JPA;
• Proficiency in developing complete applications with the Spring Framework (Boot, Data, cache, etc.);
• Proficiency in dependency management and project builds with Maven and/or Gradle;
• Knowledge of unit, automated, and integration testing with JUnit, Selenium, and Mockito;
• Proficiency in version control and source code management with Git;
• Proficiency in code quality analysis and standards using SonarQube and SonarLint;
• Proficiency in messaging and system integration with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or JBoss Messaging;
• Proficiency in API testing and documentation using SOAPUI, Postman, Swagger, or OpenAPI;
• Proficiency in modeling and querying relational databases (SQL Server, etc.);
• Proficiency in manipulating and querying non-relational databases (MongoDB, etc.);
• Knowledge of caching and data optimization with Redis or in-memory databases;
• Proficiency in application containerization with Docker;
• Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery with Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD;
• Knowledge of container orchestration with Kubernetes;
• Knowledge of cloud computing and application deployment on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud;
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices (Clean Code, SOLID, Design Patterns, etc.);
• Proficiency in software patterns and architecture (Hexagonal, Clean, Microservices, etc.);
• Proficiency in creating tests before implementation (Test-Driven Development – TDD).
