Senior Infoblox Engineer

About the role

Position for an international Nearshore project, contributing to the transformation and modernization of corporate DDI services, involving DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management. This is a senior position, with direct involvement in architecture design and technical project leadership across different teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, migrate, and optimize Infoblox environments at enterprise scale.
• Define and deploy scalable, resilient, and highly available Grid architectures.
• Lead the migration of Microsoft DNS environments to Infoblox.
• Integrate DDI services with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Automate processes using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Assess existing environments and propose scalable, resilient, and highly available architectures.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and connectivity.
• Create architecture diagrams, deployment plans, technical documentation, and operational runbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Network Engineering, or related technical fields.
• Advanced English (C1 or higher), with the ability to communicate in an international environment.
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, transforming, and supporting enterprise Infoblox DDI environments.
• In-depth knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management.
• Experience with Infoblox NIOS.
• Experience designing, deploying, and supporting Infoblox Grid architectures.
• Experience with enterprise DNS architecture.
• Participation in Microsoft DNS to Infoblox migration projects.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP networks.
• Experience with hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Experience integrating Infoblox with cloud platforms, especially Azure and AWS.
• Knowledge of DNS security solutions, including DNSSEC and Response Policy Zones.
• Experience with infrastructure modernization and corporate network services.
• Knowledge of PowerShell or Python for automating infrastructure tasks.
• Experience with integration and automation using REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code practices.

• Infoblox Certified Professional certification.
• Infoblox Certified Network Administrator certification.
• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate certification.
• Cisco CCNP Enterprise certification.
