Senior Software Developer

We are looking for a professional to take on the role of Senior Software Developer to join our team.

Main responsibilities:

• Provide technical guidance to team developers through constructive code reviews, pair programming sessions, dissemination of best practices, and definition of engineering standards;
• Design and code robust, secure, and high-performance solutions, working primarily in Java and .NET components.
• Design decoupled and scalable architectures, ensuring efficient integration between our main GCP (Google Cloud Platform) ecosystem and complementary workloads in other clouds (AWS/Azure);
• Establish guidelines for automated testing (unit, integration, and load), observability, and continuous refactoring strategies for legacy code;
• Model and optimize routines in relational and non-relational databases, as well as structure resilient REST APIs and asynchronous/messaging flows;
• Collaborate with infrastructure on the design and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, automation pipelines, and performance monitoring in production.

Requirements for this position:

• Solid track record as a backend developer, with autonomy to design and sustain complex end-to-end systems;
• Advanced mastery of the Java ecosystem (e.g., Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle, concurrency, microservices, and performance);
• Experience or strong familiarity with the .NET / C# ecosystem (.NET Core / Framework);
• Mastery of software architecture patterns, Clean Architecture, SOLID, Design Patterns, and RESTful API modeling;
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, or Cloud SQL);
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and indexing/query optimization techniques for complex queries;
• Established practice with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and observability best practices (centralized logs, APM, and metrics);
• Genuine ability to mentor less experienced developers, with excellent communication and technical empathy.

We consider the following a plus:

• Experience in hybrid or multicloud scenarios (workloads connecting GCP to AWS, Azure, or on-premises servers);
• Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Google Pub/Sub);
• Practical knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes);
• Experience with processing/analyzing large volumes of data (BI / Data Engineering).
