Junior Developer | Remote

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain web applications and APIs with supervision and guidance
• Work on frontend and/or backend development, learning about integration between layers
• Collaborate in the implementation of functional and responsive user interfaces
• Implement basic integrations with external APIs and databases
• Participate in the maintenance and evolution of existing applications
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Learn about best practices in development and software architecture
• Contribute to development processes (versioning, testing, deployment)

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• Full degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields
• Solid knowledge of at least one programming language (JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar)
• At least 2 years of professional experience in software development
• Basic experience with web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with at least one frontend framework (React, Vue.js, or Angular) or backend framework (Express, Django, FastAPI, Spring)
• Basic knowledge of relational databases (SQL)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Ability to work with RESTful APIs
• Proactivity and desire to learn new technologies

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic knowledge of non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis)
• Familiarity with containers (Docker)
• Basic experience with cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Experience with basic automated testing
• Participation in academic or personal projects demonstrating technical competence
