- Lead complex, high-impact analytical solutions
- Define modeling methods, metrics, and strategies
- Conduct and oversee research on new training and usage techniques for SLMs
- Collaborate with engineers and developers to deploy models into production and structure APIs
- Define data and AI strategies aligned with product objectives
- Communicate results, limitations, and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to the training and mentoring of junior data scientists
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience training deep learning models
- Proven experience with production projects and advanced modeling
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a data scientist
- Mastery of machine learning tools and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Solid knowledge in applied statistics, model validation, and evaluation metrics
- Experience with MLOps and deploying models in the cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Technical leadership skills and ability to influence product decisions
- Familiarity with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex)
