Tech Lead

You will be part of one of the largest private healthcare groups in Latin America, a national reference in high-complexity hospitals, innovation, and digital transformation. The company is heavily investing in the evolution of its digital products and structuring new squads to develop a new generation of applications that will transform the

journey of millions of patients across Brazil.

We are looking for a Web Tech Lead to provide technical leadership for two multidisciplinary squads responsible for developing and evolving digital products in the Human Resources area. You will be the main technical reference for the teams, acting on architecture definition, code quality, engineering practices, testing strategy, infrastructure, and technical evolution of solutions. You will also play an important role in people development and in bridging technology, product, and other teams.

What you will do

• Define and sustain the architecture of web solutions using Node.js and React, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Provide technical leadership for two squads composed of Full Stack developers and QA professionals.
• Lead technical refinements, story decomposition, estimations, and support the resolution of impediments.
• Conduct code reviews and establish engineering standards, including Clean Code, version control, and branching strategies.
• Define and monitor the automated testing strategy with the QA team, including Jest, integration tests, and pipeline automation.
• Ensure best practices for containerization and deployment on AWS, using Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, CI/CD, and observability tools.
• Model and optimize data access in Oracle and MongoDB, including query analysis and tuning.
• Work closely with Product Owners and other squads to align roadmaps, integrations, and dependencies.
• Support decisions related to technical sizing, infrastructure, licensing, and costs.
• Act in the technical development of squad professionals, promoting mentorship, knowledge sharing, and growth plans.

Technical Requirements

• Solid experience with Node.js, REST API development, and preferably NestJS or Express.
• Experience with React, including Hooks, state management, and componentization.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, especially EKS, ECR, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment, troubleshooting, and resource configuration.
• Experience with automated testing using Jest.
• Knowledge of Oracle, including SQL, PL/SQL, and query tuning.
• Experience with MongoDB, including document modeling and aggregations.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD, using tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Prior experience acting as a Tech Lead, technical reference, or technical leader of development teams.

Differentials

• Experience with microservices architecture and messaging, such as SQS, SNS, or Kafka.
• Knowledge of security practices and LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law), especially regarding the handling of sensitive employee data.
• Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Knowledge of engineering metrics, such as DORA Metrics.
