The Project and the Team

We are looking for a creative back-end engineer to join our team, build a user-facing application in the networking area, and drive it to wide market adoption. The team includes an Engineering Manager, UX designers, back-end engineers, front-end engineers, and network engineers.

• We are a self-sufficient team.
• Our point of contact is a Product Owner on the client side.
• The team is located in Europe.
• Client representatives are based on the East and West coasts of the US and in Europe.
• We follow Agile principles.

Your Role

As part of the project team, you will be responsible for:

• Operating within project-specific frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional team members, including product managers, UX designers, and front-end developers.
• Recommending and implementing innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement.
• Acquiring new knowledge and applying it to the implementation of new solutions.
• Developing and implementing new features, as well as enhancing and optimizing existing functionalities.
• Formulating and enforcing rigorous testing methodologies.

Requirements

As a Software Engineer, you must meet the following criteria:

• Good knowledge of Go.
• Knowledge of another programming language at an intermediate level.
• Competence in Linux.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience developing software solutions in network or security areas, with understanding of the domain.
• Experience with Temporal containerization technology.
• Experience working with end users.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to Have

Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate:

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with gRPC or Protobuf.
