WebLogic and Java EE Specialist

WebLogic and Java EE Specialist, responsible for migrating and preparing the application runtime environment, including servers, configuration, performance, monitoring, and platform validation.

Job Details

• Work arrangement: Remote;
• Work schedule: 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.;
• Contract type: PJ.

Responsibilities

• Configuration and monitoring of JEE application servers;
• Performance tuning;
• Application monitoring;
• Support with target platform configuration;
• Support with automated testing;
• Planning and support for version and component migration.

Required technical experience

• Java/JEE;
• WebLogic;
• Application servers;
• Monitoring and performance tools.

Academic background (with proof by diploma or certificate)

• Completed undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields;

or

• Any other undergraduate degree combined with a specialization course with a minimum of 360 hours; or a master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields.

Certifications (must hold at least one)

• Certified Jaguar Architect (CJA);
• Certified jCompany Architect (CJA);
• Sun Certified Enterprise Architect (SCEA);
• Oracle Certified Master Java EE 5/6 Enterprise Architect (OCMJEA);
• Oracle Certified Master Java EE 6 Enterprise Architect.

Alternatively, the following will be accepted:

Training course in the jCompany/Jaguar framework, with a minimum of 120 hours, taught by a manufacturer-authorized instructor, combined with at least one of the following certifications:

• Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD);
• Sun Certified Developer for Java Web Services (SCWSD);
• Sun Certified Business Component Developer (SCBCD);
• Oracle Certified Expert
• Java EE Web Component Developer (OCEJWCD);
• Oracle Certified Professional Java EE Business Component Developer (OCPJBCD);
• Oracle Certified Expert Java EE Web Services Developer (OCEJWSD)
• Oracle Certified Professional Java EE 7 Application Developer
