Senior Backend Developer | Java

We are looking for Senior Backend Developer to work in a high-criticality environment, contributing to the evolution, support, and modernization of applications.

The position has a focus on Java Backend, but we are looking for professionals with a Full Stack profile and knowledge of Angular.

💻 Main responsibilities

Develop and evolve applications using Java and Spring Boot;

Create and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices;

Work with monolithic and distributed architectures;

Participate in modernization and migration to microservices initiatives;

Ensure application quality, security, and performance;

Develop and maintain automated tests;

Work with CI/CD, DevOps, and AWS Cloud practices;

Perform log analysis, issue resolution, and application support;

Use AI tools for development, such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Kiro, Devin, or similar;

Contribute to technical decisions and development best practices.

🛠️ Key skills

Java 8+, Java SE/EE;

Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security;

REST APIs, JSON, XML, and XSD;

Microservices, messaging, and event-driven architecture;

Angular;

PostgreSQL and/or DB2;

JUnit and Mockito;

Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions;

Maven, Nexus, and SonarQube;

Linux;

AWS and monitoring/observability tools;

Experience with high-criticality environments.

🎯 Requirements

Completed higher education in IT or related fields;

Solid experience in software development;

Experience with Java and Spring Boot;

Experience with microservices architecture;

Knowledge of AWS and CI/CD;

Practical experience using AI agents/tools in development;

Knowledge of Angular will be considered an important differentiator;

Experience in the financial sector will be a differentiator.
