Job Mission

Work on the development, evolution, and maintenance of backend applications using Java and Spring Boot, contributing to robust, secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions. Participate in the technical evolution of the squad, API development, integrations, and continuous improvement of applications.

Work Model: Hybrid – 1 day per week on-site – Faria Lima, São Paulo/SP

Employment Type: CLT

Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, following security and versioning best practices.
• Implement new features and maintain existing systems.
• Work with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Develop code with a focus on quality, security, performance, and scalability.
• Create and maintain automated tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Participate in TDD/BDD practices.
• Work with Git/GitHub and CI/CD processes.
• Participate in defining and evolving the squad's technical solutions and architecture.
• Support the identification and resolution of technical issues.
• Work together with QA, Requirements Analysts, Product Managers, and other squad members.
• Participate in agile rituals and contribute to the team's continuous improvement.
• Share knowledge and provide technical support to other team members.

Development and Technologies

• Develop applications using Java 8 or higher.
• Work with Streams, Lambdas, and the Date API.
• Use the Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Work with PostgreSQL and relational databases.
• Use tools such as Maven, SonarQube, and Nexus.
• Work with Git/GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Develop automated tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Work in Linux and AWS environments.

Architecture and Integrations

• Contribute to the evolution of the architecture and the developed solutions.
• Support the building of scalable, high-performance solutions.
• Work with integrations between systems and services.
• Participate in initiatives related to microservices and distributed environments.
• Support the identification and resolution of issues related to applications and integrations.

Requirements

• Solid experience with Java 8 or higher.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with automated testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• Knowledge of practices such as TDD/BDD.
• Experience with Maven, SonarQube, and Nexus.
• Knowledge of Linux.
• Experience with AWS.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Autonomy to lead activities and solve technical problems.
