Senior Protheus Accounting Analyst

About the client:

Consulting firm specialized in Protheus/TOTVS, with activities in consulting, implementation, and systems support. It has medium- and large-sized clients, mainly in the Oil & Gas segment in Rio de Janeiro, maintaining long-term relationships.

About the position:

Work model: Hybrid – 3 days on-site and 2 days remote, in the Glória/RJ area

Hiring type: Cooperative worker

Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Essential requirements:

• Strong experience with Protheus/TOTVS;
• Proficiency in the SIGACTB – Management Accounting module;
• Experience with parameterization and configuration of the accounting module;
• Knowledge of chart of accounts, cost centers, standard histories, currencies, and accounting calendars;
• Experience creating, reviewing, and maintaining Standard Entries (LP);
• Knowledge of accounting integrations between SIGACTB, SIGAFIN, SIGAFAT, SIGACOM, and SIGAEST;
• Practical knowledge of the Configurator (SIGACFG);
• Experience with accounting closing, reconciliations, and profit determination;
• Knowledge of ECD and ECF;
• Strong knowledge of accounting rules and concepts, including debit/credit, double-entry bookkeeping, and company consolidation;
• Ability to analyze and resolve balance discrepancies and inconsistencies between modules;
• Good communication skills for interacting with accounting areas, users, and technical teams.

Desirable qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of ADVPL or TLPP for reading code and making small customizations;
• Experience with the SIGATAF – TOTVS Tax Automation module;
• Experience in Protheus implementation and support projects;
• Experience handling tickets and providing advanced functional support.

Main responsibilities:

• Perform parameterization and configuration of the SIGACTB module;
• Configure and maintain the chart of accounts, cost centers, standard histories, currencies, and accounting calendars;
• Create, review, and optimize Standard Entries (LP);
• Ensure proper accounting integration of the Financial, Billing, Purchasing, and Inventory modules;
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes;
• Work on reconciliations and profit determinations;
• Validate and generate files related to accounting and tax obligations, including ECD and ECF;
• Analyze and resolve balance discrepancies, integration errors, and accounting inconsistencies;
• Provide support for complex requests related to Protheus;
• Translate accounting and controller needs into technical requirements;
• Interact with development teams on requests involving ADVPL/TLPP;
• Support the identification of improvements and optimizations in system processes;
• Investigate the origin of errors and inconsistencies among the different Protheus modules;
• Ensure proper application of accounting business rules in the system;
• Support users in using accounting-related features;
• Contribute to Protheus environment implementation, improvement, and support projects.
