Senior Functional QA Test Analyst

Job Mission

Ensure the quality, reliability, and stability of applications, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and products. Work collaboratively in agile squads with development, product, and other teams, ensuring that applications meet functional and business requirements through functional and manual testing, with automation as a key differentiator.

Model: Hybrid | 2 days per week on-site (Tuesday and Friday) – São Paulo/SP (Faria Lima)

Hours: Monday to Friday, from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM or 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute functional and manual tests, ensuring coverage of requirements and business rules.
• Create and document scenarios, test cases, data sets, and evidence, identifying risks and potential impacts on functionalities.
• Perform REST API testing, validating integrations between systems and ensuring correct service operation.
• Validate data in relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, using SQL for queries, verification, and data analysis.
• Identify, log, track, and perform defect retesting, contributing to the resolution of identified issues.
• Perform log analysis to support failure investigation and identification of potential root causes.
• Work collaboratively with development, product, and other squad teams, contributing to delivery quality and continuous process improvement.
• Participate in ceremonies and routines of agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Use tools such as Jira, Zephyr Scale, and Confluence for test management, defect tracking, and documentation.

Test Automation – Differentiator

• Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and evolution of automated tests, expanding the coverage and efficiency of quality strategies.
• Experience with Java, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, RestAssured, BDD/Gherkin, and Git/GitHub will be considered a differentiator.
• Knowledge of integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines will also be valued.

Requirements

• Solid experience with functional and manual testing.
• Experience in designing scenarios, test cases, data sets, and evidence.
• Experience with REST API testing and validation of integrations.
• Knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Experience with SQL for data validation and analysis.
• Experience with test management tools such as Jira, Zephyr Scale, and Confluence.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with defect analysis, logging, tracking, and retesting.
• Basic knowledge of Linux.
• Experience with application log analysis.
• Strong ability to analyze requirements and identify risk scenarios.
