Senior Quality Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Quality Analyst to focus on Functional QA and manual testing, contributing to delivery quality from story refinement to feature validation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in story refinements with a quality perspective;
• Analyze requirements and business rules;
• Plan and execute functional and manual tests;
• Create test scenarios and test cases;
• Perform regression testing and retesting;
• Identify, log, and track defects;
• Prepare test data when necessary;
• Participate in reviews and agile ceremonies;
• Validate features before delivery;
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes;
• Identify automation opportunities with the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields;
• Completed higher education;
• Experience with QA and software testing, especially functional testing;
• Experience with test planning, design, and execution;
• Knowledge of testing best practices and strategies;
• Knowledge of automation fundamentals;
• Experience working with agile teams;
• Knowledge of Scrum and Kanban;
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools;
• Experience with defect logging and tracking;
• Knowledge of databases.

Nice to have

• BDD and Gherkin;
• Selenium, Cucumber, or RestAssured;
• API and integration testing;
• CI/CD and code versioning;
• Log analysis.

Work model and location

Hybrid work model, with 2 in-person days per week, in the Faria Lima, São Paulo/SP area.

Full-time CLT employment, during business hours.
