About the Opportunity

We are looking for a senior technology professional with solid experience in SAP S/4HANA development, advanced ABAP knowledge, and a background in SAP solution architecture. The person will be responsible for defining development standards, strengthening technical governance, and promoting software engineering best practices, contributing to the evolution of technology solutions in a global and high-complexity environment.

Job Mission

Work on defining, implementing, and evolving SAP development and governance standards, leading technical architecture discussions and promoting software engineering best practices. Contribute to the adoption of modern SAP technologies, support the implementation of SAP BTP services, and ensure that solutions are aligned with SAP Clean Core principles and corporate architecture guidelines.

Work Model and Employment Type

• Work model: 100% on-site in Campinas/SP
• Employment type: CLT.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Completed bachelor's degree or technologist degree.
• Solid experience in SAP S/4HANA development.
• Advanced ABAP knowledge.
• Experience leading technical teams and high-complexity projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP solution architecture and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with technical governance and defining development standards.
• Advanced English is mandatory, with the ability to conduct meetings, technical discussions, and communication with stakeholders in a global environment.
• Ability to influence technical decisions and align different stakeholders.
• Critical thinking and strategic business vision.
• Excellent communication skills and ease of working in global, multidisciplinary environments.

Main Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and maintain SAP development and governance standards.
• Lead technical architecture discussions and solution review forums (Design Review Boards).
• Establish software engineering best practices, code quality, testing, and documentation.
• Drive the adoption of new SAP technologies and modern development frameworks.
• Support the technical implementation of SAP BTP services and modern extensibility approaches.
• Work in partnership with architects, engineering teams, platform teams, and business stakeholders.
• Act as a mentor to developers, promoting upskilling and technical excellence.
• Ensure that solutions are aligned with SAP Clean Core principles and corporate architecture guidelines.
• Identify opportunities for automation, innovation, and continuous improvement of development processes.
• Promote the evolution of software engineering practices and technical governance.
• Contribute to strategic architecture decisions and the evolution of SAP solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP BTP and modern extensibility approaches.
• Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite and API-based integrations.
• Experience with SAP Build Code and Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and Code Reviews.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development, such as SAP Joule, Microsoft Copilot, and Generative AI.
• Experience defining and implementing engineering and technical governance standards.
