Opportunity: Software Engineer – Mid-Level

We are looking for an engineer with the autonomy to plan and execute end-to-end deliveries of ArcGIS solutions. The professional will work on developing custom web applications, Python automations, AddOns for ArcGIS Pro, and widgets for Experience Builder, with a focus on code quality and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

You will be responsible for:

• Developing automations and integrations with the ArcGIS platform using the ArcGIS API for Python autonomously;
• Designing and implementing geospatial web applications with the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript, including custom widgets for Experience Builder;
• Creating and maintaining Add-ins for ArcGIS Pro in C#, covering everything from solution design to production delivery;
• Ensuring delivery quality through automated testing (unit and integration) and active participation in code reviews;
• Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for projects under your responsibility;
• Collaborating with GIS specialists in translating functional requirements into viable technical solutions;
• Occasionally supporting junior engineers with technical questions and code reviews;
• Contributing to technical estimates and refinement of the development backlog.

What we are looking for (Requirements):

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis, or related fields;
• Strong engineering practices: clean code, SOLID principles, design patterns, and code review;
• Automated unit testing and a quality-driven culture;
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent);
• Familiarity with Docker containers and basic orchestration;
• Mastery of Git and collaborative workflows (branching, PRs, code review).

Differentiators we value:

• Practical mastery of the ArcGIS platform (Enterprise and/or Online) and its service publishing and consumption workflows;
• Knowledge of ArcGIS API for Python for workflow automation, API-based administration, and programmatic geoprocessing;
