Opportunity: Systems Analyst (Focus on Data Modeling and Analysis)

We are looking for a professional to work on the logical and physical data architecture of solutions for our clients, as well as on building data processing and presentation solutions in dashboards and reports.

You will be responsible for translating the business case into data models and information that support high-performance applications and dynamic business processes.

Your main responsibilities:

• Business Case Analysis: Decompose business requirements into logical and efficient data structures.
• Data Modeling: Design relational and geospatial models.
• Data Transformation: Collect, process (transform), and organize business data so it can be consumed by applications and dashboards, using SQL and Python languages.
• Dashboard Creation and Data Visualization: Design and develop KPI dashboards that transform technical data into strategic insights for the business.

What we are looking for (Requirements):

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis, Data Science, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of previous experience acting as a systems analyst and/or data engineer.
• Analytical and communication skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Mastery in data analysis, requirement identification, and documentation.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL).
• Ability to create and maintain Python scripts for automating data processing tasks.
• Advanced knowledge in configuring and using dashboard tools (e.g., Excel Pivot Tables, Power BI, Superset, Looker, ArcGIS Dashboards, etc.).
• Familiarity with developing analytical views and KPIs to support better business decisions.
• Ability to identify opportunities through data analysis and generate relevant insights.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate data analysis.
• Quality-oriented mindset and technical rigor in documentation.

Differentials we value:

• Knowledge of geographic databases (PostGIS, SQL Server Spatial, or Oracle Spatial).
• Practical knowledge of the Esri ecosystem (ArcGIS Enterprise).
• Knowledge in Databricks environments.
• Previous experience in projects focused on using data analysis for business expansion.
• Fluency in English.
• Previous experience in projects within the utilities or renewable energy sectors.
