- Build the finance department: define processes, policies, and control routines.
- Organize and oversee monthly accounting and financial closing with the outsourced accounting firm.
- Implement and manage cash flow, projecting inflows, outflows, and working capital needs.
- Develop the annual budget and track actuals vs. budget, analyzing variances.
- Produce management reports (P&L, cash flow, financial KPIs) to support leadership.
- Map and control fixed and variable costs, identifying efficiency opportunities.
- Implement basic internal controls to reduce financial, tax, and fraud risks.
- Support strategic decisions on pricing, investments, hiring, and project feasibility.
- Serve as the main point of contact with banks, accountants, external auditors, and other financial partners.
- As the company grows, structure and lead the future finance team.
Requirements

- Autonomy and proactivity to work without a pre-defined structure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as the sole Controller or Finance Manager in a company without an established finance department.
- Experience implementing ERP or financial management systems.
- Knowledge of corporate finance, M&A, or fundraising.
