About Begen

Begen is a startup developing AI-based solutions for advertising and e-commerce. Our main platform, AdMultify, transforms a single creative concept into hundreds of static and animated ad formats and variations, enabling agencies and advertisers to produce personalized campaigns at scale with greater speed, efficiency, and brand consistency.

We are in a phase of accelerated growth and are seeking a Head of Engineering with an executive profile, agile mindset, and an extreme focus on execution. While the CTO focuses on technological vision, innovation, and the strategic evolution of products, this person will lead the daily engineering operations, translating business priorities into deliverables, organizing the team, and ensuring quality, efficiency, and speed in development.

The Challenges

You will be responsible for:

• Team & Delivery Management
• Leading and expanding the technical team (backend, infrastructure, frontend, MLOps)
• Establishing a roadmap with clear deadlines and transparent communication with stakeholders
• Creating a culture of execution, brutal prioritization, and accountability
• Execution & Quality
• Ensuring consistent delivery of features and optimizations
• Defining code, infrastructure, and performance standards
• Being hands-on when necessary (code review, debugging, architecture)
• Technical Scalability
• Optimizing AI/ML pipelines for production (variation generation, image processing)
• Managing cloud infrastructure and controlling costs
• Preparing architecture for growth (API-first, modular, observable)
• Product Quality & Performance
• Ensuring generated variations have visual consistency and brand fidelity
• Optimizing generation time and platform throughput
• Gathering customer feedback and translating it into viable sprints
• Partnerships & Integration
• Working closely with the Product and Sales teams to unblock clients
• Navigating integrations with ad platforms (Meta CAPI, Google Ads API, TikTok)
• Coordinating with technical partners as needed

Who We Are Looking For

Essential:

8+ years in development/engineering (backend, full-stack, or AI/ML)

3+ years leading technical teams (squad lead, tech lead, engineering manager)

Experience with AI/ML in production (computer vision, image generation, or LLMs is a big plus)

Track record of rapid execution in startups (not sluggish corporate environments)

Fluency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript

Knowledge of cloud (AWS/GCP) and modern infrastructure

Desirable:

Background in SaaS platforms, marketplaces, or adtech

Experience with image processing, generative models, or MLOps

Experience with Meta CAPI, Google Ads API, or ad platforms

Knowledge of agile/scrum and delivery metrics

Exposure to fast-growing startups

Attitude (non-negotiable):

Clear communicator with stakeholders (knows how to say "no" with logic)
