Mid-Level Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with experience in test automation to work on high-complexity and high-impact projects. This person will be responsible for ensuring the quality of deliverables through the creation, execution, and maintenance of automated tests, collaborating directly with backend (Python) and frontend (React.js) development teams, in a continuous integration environment on Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain functional, integration, and regression test automation scripts.
• Execute automated tests in CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with backend (Python) and frontend (React.js) developers in defining test scenarios.
• Participate in sprint refinements and planning, contributing acceptance criteria.
• Identify, report, and track bug fixes.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, tests, and evidence.
• Support the continuous evolution of QA processes and tools.

Required Requirements:

• Experience with test automation in web projects.
• Knowledge of tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
• Experience with REST API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic knowledge of Python and JavaScript/React.js for reading and collaborating with the development team.
• Use of version control with Git.
• Advanced and/or Fluent English for conversation.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., SpecFlow, Behave, Cucumber).
• Knowledge in performance testing (e.g., JMeter, k6).
• Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Knowledge in code quality analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube).
