Job Description

If you are passionate about innovation and looking to work in an agile, collaborative, and challenging environment, this could be your opportunity!

For our Engineering team, we are looking for talented individuals capable of building complex, high-quality systems.

You will be directly involved in the company's business through the development and maintenance of our systems. Our main pillar is the quality of what we deliver; we understand that it is important to do things right rather than just fast. We focus on solution simplicity, delivering in small increments, and developer autonomy, all through collaborative work.

Most of our applications are built in Java, so interest in working with this technology and providing technical leadership to the team is required! We seek professionals with software engineering skills, people management experience, and openness to new learnings!

Interested in the opportunity but do not reside in Joinville? No problem, we offer remote/home office work.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Guide, motivate, and develop the engineering team;
  • Make technical decisions and act in resolving complex problems;
  • Maintain established standards and practices in the area, guiding the team to transform business logic into high-quality code;
  • Define and implement new features;
  • Understand and discuss proposed problems and solutions, always seeking the best technical solution for the challenges encountered;
  • Communicate relevant technical information to the business to other areas and people involved in product and solution development (team, other leaders, managers, stakeholders...);
  • Review code delivered by the team, providing feedback;
  • Guide the team in breaking down large deliveries into small, cohesive parts;
  • Monitor the implemented solution in production, evaluating errors, performance, and availability;
  • Monitor market trends, identify innovation opportunities, and guide the team in adopting solutions that drive company growth and competitiveness;
  • Collaborate on improvements or new standards in the Engineering knowledge base.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Solid experience in Web Development;
  • Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban;
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery practices and automated testing;
  • Mastery of frameworks, libraries, and tools, such as Java, Python, JS, Ruby, among others;
  • Knowledge of Software Architecture, design principles, and patterns;
  • Knowledge of structuring scalable, modular, and high-performance systems;
  • Conflict management skills, decision-making, assertive communication, and strategic vision.

Differentials

  • Complete higher education in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields;
  • Advanced knowledge in Grails and its different versions.
  • Courses focused on Solution Architecture.

Additional Information

  • CLT employment contract (Brazilian labor law);
  • 8-hour workday, with flexibility.
