Product Manager (Postpaid)

In the cards squad, you will be responsible for the entire customer experience with our postpaid card, from managing the billing statement, revolving balance, and fees, to creating negotiation functionalities and recovery features for delinquent customers. Your role is key to our issuer strategy, ensuring that the product evolves and allows thousands of entrepreneurs to reach even higher heights.

The Product Manager at Asaas is responsible for aligning customer needs with business and market interests. You will work with empowered engineering, design, and data teams to help you achieve this mission.

Responsibilities and duties

• Define and execute Asaas's strategy as a postpaid credit card issuer;
• Define the product vision with a focus on the billing and delinquency journey with the card;
• Be the focal point between Product and Compliance/Legal to ensure that all postpaid product functionalities and flows are in full regulatory compliance;
• Deliver value: deeply understand the customer to deliver the best possible solution, considering gains and efforts;
• Remove obstacles and deliver large projects in small, coherent, and high-value parts;
• Contribute to the strategic product vision, setting goals based on business interests, market timing, and customer needs;
• Make data-driven decisions based on facts, defining and tracking product metrics;
• Work together with the design, engineering, and data teams;
• Ensure that all areas of the company are consulted or informed when necessary about product changes, and also work together with the marketing team in communicating with the customer, generating engagement;
• Be guided by constant development, stepping out of your comfort zone and testing new ways of doing things.

Requirements and qualifications

• Previous experience as a PM in card products;
• Have analytical capacity (ease in synthesizing data and making decisions without necessarily having all the information of a perfect scenario);
• Intermediate experience in Digital Product Management;
• Understanding of the dynamics of fees and late interest (accruals) that apply to the credit card balance, being able to specify business rules in the product.
• Ability to read and understand partner API documentation (such as payment processors), facilitating discovery with the engineering team.
• Intermediate knowledge of data analysis and fundamental product metrics;
• Basic knowledge in SQL;
