Senior Product Designer

You will join a multidisciplinary squad responsible for Flapp Store, the Asaas marketplace. The squad's mission is to connect Asaas customers with solutions that increase the productivity of their businesses, through simple, reliable discovery, subscription, and activation journeys that convert.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will be the design reference for Flapp Store and will lead the visual and functional evolution of the product. You will have the autonomy to identify opportunities, defend hypotheses, and implement strategic improvements alongside Product, Engineering, Data, and business teams.

Your challenge will be to balance user needs, business goals, and operational requirements to create experiences that reduce friction, increase conversion, and strengthen trust throughout the purchase and payment process.

Responsibilities and duties

• Be the design reference for Flapp Store across the entire product cycle: discovery, delivery, and results tracking;
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, interviews, and data analyses to identify opportunities in the marketplace journey;
• Map discovery, subscription, and checkout flows, identifying drop-off points and conversion opportunities;
• Use funnel metrics (conversion, clicks, checkout journey) to guide design decisions;
• Plan and analyze A/B tests and usability tests to validate hypotheses;
• Design web and mobile experiences with a focus on usability, accessibility, and trust;
• Create flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces;
• Translate complex business rules into clear experiences, documenting UX and business requirements;
• Work with Sales and Marketing teams to visually communicate the product's value;
• Contribute to the evolution of the Design System and consistency across products;
• Use AI tools in discovery, analysis, ideation, and prototyping.

Partner journey

• Create experiences that reduce partners' operational effort and improve the quality and standardization of published apps.
• Work with the Partnerships team to understand partners' pain points and turn them into product improvements.

Requirements and qualifications

• Strong experience as a Product Designer on digital products;
• Experience with e-commerce, marketplaces, or B2B SaaS;
• Experience in agile, multidisciplinary squads, with mastery of discovery and delivery processes;
• Mastery of quantitative and qualitative research techniques;
• Ability to interpret product metrics and user behavior and make data- and evidence-based decisions;
• Excellence in UI Design, with aesthetic care and strong visual communication;
• Attention to detail, especially in complex business rules;
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate design concepts for different business audiences;
• Autonomy to manage your own time and priorities.

• Experience in the financial sector, fintechs, or payment methods;
• Experience with analytics tools and behavioral analysis;
• Use of AI applied to Product Design (research, analysis, hypothesis generation, or prototyping)
