77sol is a B2B2C solar energy platform. We connect integrators, distributors, and end consumers in an ecosystem that spans from simulation and financing to post-installation monitoring.
The moment
We are in the midst of a transformation in how engineering works:
- New architecture in rollout. Fastify, Prisma, modular hexagonal monolith replacing PHP/Laravel via strangler fig pattern;
- Unified stack in TypeScript. Everyone will be able to move between front-end and back-end. You don't need to be an expert in both, but you can't be stuck waiting for someone else;
- New methodology. Moving from rigid Scrum with 2-week sprints to rapid iteration cycles focused on outcomes. Less ceremony, more continuous delivery, more autonomy;
- AI as a work tool. Claude Code, skills, custom harness, workflow automation.
We are looking for someone who can make this happen day-to-day with the team.
- Define the technical horizon. Turn architectural directions into reality: how each module is structured, which patterns the team follows, how the strangler fig strategy develops;
- Be close to the team. Code alongside when necessary, do pair/ensemble programming, conduct code reviews that teach. When someone gets stuck on a banking integration or a modeling decision, sit down together and solve it. You won't just draw pretty diagrams and hand them off for the team to execute. You'll be in the code, seeing what works and what doesn't in practice;
- Implement the new way of working. Continuous iteration, trunk-based development, feature flags, continuous deployment. Show by doing, not by convincing with presentations;
- Foster the use of AI in development. Develop the 77sol harness, use it day-to-day — coding, debugging, review, documentation — and bring the team along;
- Support the unification of the stack in TypeScript/Node.js. Ensure that those coming from PHP can make the transition, and that the new patterns are clear;
- Share knowledge. Technical knowledge that only you understand is a bad decision. The goal is for the entire team to be able to operate autonomously.
