Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools.

• Perform first-level security incident triage (N1 and N2), identifying threats and anomalies.

• Escalate suspicious events and complex incidents to higher levels, following defined procedures.

• Assist in collecting digital evidence and documenting security incidents in detail.

• Actively collaborate in creating, reviewing, and continuously improving SOC playbooks and operational procedures.

• Prepare daily reports on activities, security alerts, and operational status for the team and management.

Requirements

• Technical or higher education in progress/completed in Information Security, Networks, Computer Science, or related fields.

• Solid basic knowledge of networks, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and security protocols.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and how a SOC (Security Operations Center) works.

• Proactivity, excellent communication, and a genuine willingness to learn and develop in the field.

• Knowledge and/or practical experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Wazuh, Elastic).

• Knowledge of Vulnerability Management tools (e.g., OpenVas).

• Preferred: Introductory security courses or certifications (e.g., Blue Team, CompTIA Security+, Fortinet NSE 1-2).

• Preferred: Previous experience with antivirus, firewall, or EDR tools.
