Senior Network Architect

Job Description

Responsible for designing and implementing network architecture (LAN and WAN) based on the organization's requirements and objectives, such as performance, security, scalability, reliability, and cost. Also responsible for selecting hardware, software, and protocols to meet organizational needs and ensuring the highest possible availability. Support the commercial team in network projects related to the company's services.

Possess solid technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, project management, and effective communication.

Always stay updated on market news and innovations, indicating continuous improvements in the environment, following best practices and technical recommendations.

Create and maintain documentation of RTM's network environments at their different service levels.

Essential Requirements

Higher education, complete, in Telecommunications Engineering and/or related areas.

Advanced English

Certifications in the Telecom area or related competencies.

Knowledge in public and private Cloud network environments;

Configuration of IP telephony and video conferencing equipment;

Configuration of data network equipment;

Network management, with a systemic view;

Experience in MPLS, SD-WAN, FABRIC, and Wireless-based networks;

Experience in network protocols, routing, and QOS policies;

Experience in video conferencing environments, IP telephony, and associated protocols;

Ability to create network environment documentation.

Experience in SD-WAN, Backbone Networks, and Data Center Networks

Knowledge in Network Automation and Cloud Networks

Desirable Requirements

Post-graduation and specialization courses that add knowledge related to data and voice networks are desirable.
