Senior Backend Software Engineer

Today, I speak on behalf of WEX, a North American company and global provider of financial technology solutions serving clients in over 200 countries, which is looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join its team.

This professional will be responsible for:

- Helping to develop, drive, and execute a long-term vision and strategy for Corporate Payments core and cross-cutting services.

- Defining and collaboratively implementing a comprehensive architectural roadmap for the EnCompass platform, aligned with business objectives, industry best practices, and other Corporate Payments teams.

- Promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, empowerment, and continuous learning within engineering teams.

- Continuously challenging the status quo and implementing mechanisms to reduce time-to-market using efficient engineering methods.

- Collaborating with other Corporate Payments engineering teams to reuse development practices and components to reduce duplication.

Key Requirements:

Advanced/Fluent English.

Deep expertise in .NET Framework (Core/C#) to build robust and scalable services.

Expert-level experience in deployment and management on AWS or Azure

Ability to design RESTful APIs and utilize event-driven platforms

Practical experience with Relational and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB/MongoDB).

DevOps and IaC: Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code

Hiring Information

Employment model: Direct CLT contract with WEX.

Work mode: 100% Remote.

Working hours: Business hours, Monday to Friday.
