Engineer, Managed Services (VMware / Wintel Infrastructure)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Managed Services Engineer to provide remote support and maintenance for critical data center infrastructures in large-scale industrial environments.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide specialized remote support (N3) for servers and storage equipment in industrial data centers.
• Manage, optimize, and maintain VMware virtualized environments (vCenter, ESXi 6.x+, Horizon View, vSAN).
• Administer and maintain Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of software, firmware, hardware, and documentation issues.
• Monitor computing and storage resource performance, acting proactively to ensure SLAs.
• Collaborate directly with global engineering teams, integrators, and distributors to resolve critical incidents.
• Create and update Technical Notes and procedure documentation for the global knowledge base.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's degree completed in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Senior Engineer or Analyst in VMware environments.
• Solid knowledge of the VMware ecosystem (ESXi, vCenter, Horizon, vSAN).
• Expertise in supporting and administering Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Advanced to fluent English: verbal and written fluency for daily interaction in global operations.
• Availability for occasional urgent resolutions outside business hours (on-call duty).

Desired Requirements

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification.
• Knowledge of automation/scripting in Cloud/Infra environments (PowerShell, Python, Java, or JavaScript).
• Familiarity with SAN storage architectures and network switches.
• Experience in 24×7 operational or industrial environments.

Additional Information

• Work Model: Hybrid — 3 days on-site and 2 days remote in São Paulo/SP (Chácara Santo Antônio).
• Work Hours: Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:18 PM.
