Mid-Level .NET Developer

About the Position

The professional will be responsible for developing robust software applications using industry best practices, working alongside a distributed team. The main focus will be the design and construction of complex SaaS systems tailored for the global trade industry (logistics, customs, or supply chain management).

Responsibilities and Duties

• Development and Design: Design, code, and implement complex SaaS systems, leading design decisions, platform selection, and coding standards.
• Agile Methodology: Contribute to all aspects of the Agile process (design, coding, testing, documentation, QA, and deployment), ensuring on-time and high-quality deliveries.
• Code Quality: Lead code reviews to ensure adherence to established standards.
• Mentorship: Guide and support the technical development of junior team members.
• Collaboration and Requirements Gathering: Work closely with internal and external users to gather requirements and design applications.
• Innovation: Support leadership in defining the technical direction of new products and leverage innovation time to explore projects of special interest.

Requirements

• Experience in software development for the Global Trade industry (logistics, customs, or supply chain).
• General experience in software development (multiple languages).
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with AI-First (AI Agents) development tools and processes.
• Experience developing SaaS solutions for large-scale/enterprise applications.

• Back-end: Proficiency in .NET development (C# and VB.NET), as well as creating and consuming REST APIs (Swagger, Postman).
• Front-end: Proficiency in developing responsive SPA applications using Angular (and JavaScript).
• Database: Experience with SQL and NoSQL systems (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Cloud: Experience in native cloud development (AWS and/or GCP).
• Observability: Practical knowledge of DataDog (APM, RUM) and Kibana.
• Security and Architecture: Solid understanding of application security (web services/web apps) and mastery of design patterns (Design Patterns) and N-Tier architecture.

• Comfort with iterative design and flexible specifications (spec-light); ability to think critically and adapt based on customer feedback.
• Excellent written and verbal communication (collaborative and solution-oriented profile).
• "Customer First" mindset with a focus on practical results (Outcomes over Output).

• Knowledge in translating business requirements into analytical solutions and data visualizations (PowerBI).
• Strong foundation in computer science (algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design).
