Mid-Level Infrastructure Security Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Infrastructure Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain perimeter and network security architectures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring network segmentation, traffic inspection, and threat protection, with a focus on multi-vendor firewalls, SASE, VPN, NDR, IPS, and rule governance using Algosec.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain perimeter and network security architectures.
• Administer multi-vendor firewalls, including Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, ASA/FTD, and Azure Firewall.
• Work with SASE, VPN, NDR, IPS, and rule governance in Algosec.
• Perform network segmentation and traffic inspection.
• Monitor and respond to threats, ensuring stable operations compliant with security best practices.
• Analyze security logs to identify and handle incidents.
• Work under the guidance of senior technical references.

Technical Requirements

• Knowledge of at least two firewall platforms: Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, ASA/FTD, or Azure Firewall.
• Experience with Cisco FirePower IPS.
• Knowledge of BlueCoat/WSG and Palo Alto/SWG proxies.
• Advanced proficiency in TCP/IP, NAT, routing, and DNS.
• Ability to read and analyze security logs.

Expected Profile

Prior experience in critical environments and 24x7 operations. Willingness to learn and grow with the support of senior specialists.
