About the Role

We are seeking an AWS Database Engineer to administer, monitor, and maintain cloud database environments, ensuring availability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and maintain AWS databases.
Ensure availability, security, and performance of environments.
Perform troubleshooting, backups, and replication.
Develop automations and drive continuous improvement of environments.

Technical Requirements

Experience with AWS RDS and Aurora.
Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
Knowledge of monitoring and basic tuning.
Automation using Shell Script and Python.
Experience with Terraform.
Concepts of high availability and security in the cloud.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certifications.
Experience with high-volume and critical environments.
