We develop a CRM and management platform for bank correspondents in Brazil. Our product connects thousands of users daily to dozens of financial institutions, processing credit operations at scale with a focus on stability, performance, and execution speed.

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer or Tech Lead to take technical leadership of our architecture. In this role, the focus goes far beyond day-to-day coding: the differentiator is the ability to design solutions, make architecture decisions, turn business problems into impeccable technical specifications, and ensure ecosystem resilience.

You will work side by side with product leadership and the engineering team, ensuring the system continues to scale safely as we handle complex financial integrations, large volumes of data, and asynchronous processing.

Responsibilities

• Architecture and Distributed Systems: design and evolve high-availability services, asynchronous flows (queues/workers), event-driven architectures, and concurrency control.
• Financial Integrations: define standards and architect resilient integrations with third-party banking APIs, handling instability, retries, rate limits, and delivery guarantees.
• Data Engineering & Analytics: structure and optimize operational databases (OLTP), as well as evolve the high-performance analytics data layer (ClickHouse).
• Technical Specification & Alignment: translate business requirements into architecture and detailed technical specifications (ADRs, API contracts, and flowcharts), eliminating ambiguities before implementation.
• Quality and Thorough Review: perform rigorous code reviews, identifying logical flaws, edge cases, and performance issues that automated tests may miss.
• Observability and Sustainability: monitor system behavior in production via metrics, logs, and tracing (Prometheus/Grafana/Loki), proactively maintaining application health.

Requirements

• Senior/Leadership Experience: solid background building and maintaining high-traffic backend systems in production, with a track record of technical leadership of projects or teams.
• Distributed Systems Expertise: hands-on experience with messaging, background asynchronous processing, idempotency, circuit breakers, and failure handling.
• Strong Data Expertise: advanced SQL for relational modeling and optimization, combined with practical knowledge of columnar/analytical databases for large data volumes (ClickHouse or similar).
• Excellent Technical Writing: above-average ability to document technical decisions, design contracts, and write clear specifications.

Nice to Haves

• Proficiency in our main stack: modern PHP (Laravel) and Vue.js / Nuxt.
• Knowledge of the credit market (payroll-deducted loans, FGTS, bancarizadoras) or payment methods.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Hands-on use of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).

Work model and location

Hybrid work model, based in Guarulhos/SP.

Contract type: PJ.

Salary range: R$ 20,000.00.
